Violet Blue (born Ada Mae Johnson on March 27, 1977) is an American porn star.

Blue was born in Aberdeen, Washington, raised in Pacific Beach, Washington. She claims that she began having sexual experiences at around age 7, and that she had sexual intercourse for the first time at age 13, while her parents were out playing bingo. She stated that she was "one of the latest ones" in her school to do so. Blue was a cheerleader during her four years of high school. She began studying magick and witchcraft at the age of 16, and was first initiated into a coven at the age of 19.

Blue attended Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen where she began modeling nude for an evening life drawing class. She then enrolled at The Evergreen State College, focusing on environmental science. She subsequently dropped out and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she began working as a stripper.

In March 1999 she appeared as an "underage" stripper in The Crow Salvation, but received no credit because it was not a speaking role. While she was filming, she found out she was pregnant and made her marriage legal. After she gave birth to a son whom she named Crimzen she began stripping again. She was working at a club called the The Million Dollar Saloon, when she was noticed by a porn talent agent named Roy Garcia. In 2000, Garcia convinced Blue to come to Southern California to pursue nude modeling.

She appeared in over 300 porn films under the name "Violet Blue", several of which were produced by Wicked Pictures and Vivid Entertainment. The films became popular in Japan, and she performed in several pornographic films with Japanese men. She was represented by the Gold Star Modeling talent agency. Also, she was initiated into the Ordo Templi Orientis, a Thelemic religious organization, at age 21.
